2004 FI Nomad for sale

I need to sale my 2004 Nomad. 42,000 miles, Harley Fairing and Trunk mounted on a Scootworks support. Utopia drivers backrest, heated grips. Clutch rebuilt around 40k miles. I also have the windshield and the passenger back rest if you want to move it back to the orginal look.
Some small surface rust on the chrome bottom railings around the saddlebags. It has the top railings on the saddle bags as well.

The bike is at S&G Custom Cycles in Columbia TN, if you google them you will find a picture of the bike in their for sale section.

This bike is in great shape and I have loved it but I just moved to a full touring bike and I do not need it anymore. The asking price is $5200. You may email me directly if you wish at GOPJOHNNY@AOL.COM

Thanks for all the advice when I was starting in the Nomad, but it is time to part ways with it .

From one Alabama rider to another, I hate to hear this. What bike did you get to be the Nomads replacement?

I bought a Yamaha Venture, more power and more room for the GF, The Nomad handles much better in the curves and looks better. The Venture is amazing on long trips, I did 2400 miles the first week in April and I could not have asked for a better long distance ride. If I could I would keep both bikes, the Nomad for poker runs and weekend rides, the Venture for vacations and long weekend trips. Alas as I also have a 82 Honda CB 750 that I have bobbed out, I do not have room for them all.

Sounds like you really enjoy the Venture. Glad you replaced the Nomad with another great bike.

The Ventures are nice bikes, I came close to buying one just before I got the Nomad. The only thing that I didn't like was the speedometer on it, it looked like it came off a 64 Pontiac. ;) Im sure that I would have gotten used to it after a while.
Good luck with the sale.

Congrats on the Yamaha Venture. The Venture was in my top 5 list, even made it up to my top 3 at one point. Just a few MC reviews swayed me away a little. But I would still consider one. Agreed, the Nomad passenger area is not the most generous. Good Luck

I've ridden a friends Venture and it does not have more power than my 08 Nomad.
But it is a nice touring bike and the passenger area is really plush.

Might depend on which year Nomad you are comparing to the Venture. 2004 was a 1500, 2005-2008 was a 1600, and 2009-present a 1700. That would make a difference in the HP comparisons.
