Riding the High Sierra

Every year we usually go riding in the High Sierra passes, and it looks like they're finally opening up, though there appears to be a lot of cold snow still on the shoulders.

My friends Donna and Gary from Reno posted these photos from a ride over Ebbet's and sonora passes yesterday.

If you've never been up there, these are motorcycle roads to die for. Just watch out, as there is still debris and road repair going on up there. Go slow, and enjoy the scenery.

Riding the High Sierra

I like to give the highest roads here another couple weeks. I don't think they got Trail Ridge (in Rocky Mt Park) open this weekend, which is usually their goal. There was quite a bit of new snow. Beautiful pics from the Sierras though.

Donna is a great photographer. I'll have to post links to some of her other stuff.
