My latest project
I know it's not a Kaw but after the Noglide I needed something to do and Just wanted to share. 1993 750 Honda Nighthawk, 2005 Yamaha R6 front end I had to make the center pin from two pins as the NH neck is longer, 1976 Yamaha XS650 tank I rusted it and my buddy matte cleared it, Kenda big block tires, stainless fabricated mufflers (sounds awesome) bobbed the frame, I made the seat from a $7.00 leather coat from Goodwill, custom made side panels and headlight mount. The red is the before pic.

I have to admit to liking the bobber style,it's the big thing in England at the moment.I have seen bikes like yours fetch ridiculous money.

Thanks for the props. I definitely did not build it for touring, that's what the NoGlide is for. It rides pretty much like the stock NH did other than the rear is a little stiffer. Definitely fun throwing it around compared to the other bike.

Fair play to you mate. It's not all about what you can carry in a straight line, for mile after mile. While sitting in an armchair, with sat nav, cruise control, and a 1000 watt hifi. Some of us old farts still like to hoon around the bends,on a bike that is a bit of fun.

Nice, I like it, but never ever you will get this with your home made fabrication through the german TÜV - similar to your D.O.T, but waaaay more strict over here !

I saw that back in the 1980's.A German bloke i was working with in Duisberg, had put a different exhaust, and handlebar grips on his bike.He was made to remove them before they would let him ride it.Just another reason for us British to get the fuck out of the European union.

We only have to get a safety (MOT for you Mick) when we buy a used bike.
Its not every year like it is in the U.K. And you had that long before you ever joined the European Union, correct ? |

Yes mate.Every year. But nowhere as strict as the Germans though. They have "type approval",Which means you cant change anything, not even tyres, without an engineers report. We,the British, are in the middle of changing the set up for older vehicles though.Anything over 40yrs old,no longer needs an MOT,or tax.And just for the record,we NEVER joined the European Union.Ted Heath, lied,as he signed us up for the Commen market.Subsequent governments, have also lied. That traitorous arsehole Tony Blair, being the worst enemy this country has ever had, including Hitler, tried to drag us into a federal European state.Thank christ there were enough true patriots left,to have voted to get us out of that shit. Follow on videos are worth a listen too.

I cant open the videos but have to agree with the Tony Blair statement.
Surprising how an old bike does not need an MOT but a newer bike does. Where is the logic in that ? I guess there is not much point in asking you if Enoch Powell was right ?
