1700 Nomad Pics

Thanks to those who responded for helping me learn how to add pics. I wanted to post here rather than the 1700 garage to show you what I was trying to do. The picture below the cover for the passenger floorboard refused to size down in spite of repeated efforts.
So here are 3 pictures of my black Nomad (yes fastest colour thread again) and the two added modifications.
Happy riding.

hey CD, how comes your light bar on the 1700 drops your spots down vertically and all the '08 and previous when we add a light bar they drop it out horizontal? I see maybe Kawa wants to present their '09 bikes to look like a Harley!!!!!!!!! Only harley has spots that hang down vertically. Doesn't make me want to buy one. :-)

Your bike is looking real good!

In regard to your problem with resizing pictures, I had the same thing when I first started.

When I posted a picture and saw that it was too big I would go back to photobucket and resize it. Then I would check my post and the picture was still the same size. I would keep trying to resize the picture but it stayed the same in the post. It took me a while to figure it out but what happens is that when I would go back to the post I was actually getting the same webpage screen that I was looking at prior to resizing the picture. Proboards doesn't download a new page when you go back, especially if you just use the back button. I found that if I got out of the forum and then went back to the post again the picture would then display in the new size. Just one of those internet catch 22s I guess.

Doc, do you mean the turn signals are dropped down vertical?

Perhaps he was talking about those small amber spots. You know, the ones that blink. ;)

Doc, I think it is because he added a Kawasaki lightbar. They do the hang down signal lights.
The Cobra lightbar puts them straight out. I like straight out better but it is a matter of what one wants on his bike.

yes, excuse me the turn signals. Thanks TC for the explain. I got the Cobra and got them sticking out, which is fine, bigger profile coming down the road.

CD: Nice bike BTW.

I went with the Kawasaki light bar because it was available right now and I think it looks good. I could not find any others that would fit the new model with its windshield and lowers. For my 900LT it took Kawasaki almost 2 years to get a light bar here in Canada so I was quite happy to find that one was in stock.
