Signal cancel switch isn't working

This may be a long shot but can anyone see why my switch cancel isn't working? It's really loose and even turning the signals on is kinda loose and inconsistent. I feel like maybe I'm missing a spring or something? But I can't really see any places where pieces are missing or anything.
