If the Kury light fits in the J.W. bracket you're golden...the stock trim ring retains the J.W. bracket and new lamp just like it retains the OE headlamp. I used bolts to hold the OE ring in place rather than the OE plastic push pins just because of the weight difference.

Also remember you need to remove the tab on the J.W. bracket located at the 6 O'clock position. Dry fitting would be difficult with the two OE tabs and the one J.W. tab in place.
Again, if the Kury light fits the J.W. bracket, you're all set.

the light fits, problem is the oem retainer ring is too big for the lens part of the light, no problem though, I ordered the 8700 and will sell the phase 7 once I get it mounted, the phase 7 was also adapted to fit the OEM headlight housing.

well I installed it, and it fits, I did find the OEM retainer ring will not fit flush with the black ring so I used 10mm bolts and added a nut in between the retainer ring and the black ring, the OEM retainer ring hold the JW bracket in place by applying pressure on the three adjusting points on the JW bracket, I may add a layer of JB Weld around the black ring and the JW bracket just to stop any movement, even though it appears to be pretty solid. For info the OEM retainer ring does not hold the OEM headlight in place, the brackets mount the headlight to OEM ring which in turn is mounted to the fairing does that. Hopefully it will stand up to the vibration.

That's weird; mine fits flush and is rock solid...here's a pic from the bottom angle looking straight at the portion of the bracket that attaches the assembly to the bike

I installed a Cyron LED headlight this weekend. Direct replacement for an H4 bulb. The only issue is getting the wire clamp that holds the bulb situated so the bulb was secure. The LED bulb has a cooling fan that gets in the way. Lens and reflector unchanged, so no modifications needed.

https://www.cyron.com/p-209-headligh...les-abh4k.aspx

Also installed the new LED headlight compatible Kisan modulator.

Those are a good option for bulb only; the reason i went with this unit is that it has separate high, low and side beams and is a visual upgrade in appearance in my opinion.

Yeah, just changing the bulb does not add the look you got. The one I have was removed from the Honda Sabre I totaled a few weeks ago.

Mine is like that as well, it is the other side that would not fit flush, the OEM retaining chrome ring. I can see where it is pressing on the bracket that has the adjusting screws.
