Motorcycle Insurance

I could not find a thread about motorcycle insurance so I thought I would send this out. My insurance is due in 1 month I have been insured by Jevco. So far the lowest price is from Riders Plus. Could you give me some sort of idea of who you are with that may beat the price of under $1000.00 per year.

Thanks

Same here with Progressive. MC insurance is much cheaper in the US.

I'm with Progressive for $40 plus a month for full coverage to include medical. I checked with State Farm and they don't even include medical and it was about $50 a month. Progressive, Farmers or Geico are probably the best.

Mine was $865.00 a year for minimum coverage here through Riders Plus, best rate I could find. It would have been about $1200 for full coverage. We get raped here.

That is what it looks like. RAPE! I was quoted $940/year with riders plus and that is WITHOUT collision. Fire and theft is included in the price. I calling the cops!

Well, your insurance may be expensive in Canada - but your country is crime-free and you don't have to carry guns!

cactusjack, Scott you are just itching for another motorcycles/packing firearms scrap!! Crime Free .... for sure??? Blueraven, it was $674 for a year full coverage/collision in Alberta, cheapest I could find was through Jevco, not many companies do their own insurance on motorcycles, sonthey end up going through Jevco. Wouldn't let you pay by the month, had to be all up front for the whole year. It isn't cheap that is for sure. Typical of Canadians, taking it on the chin again!! Ride Safe. Den
