I have a cottage/cabin rented at "Half Moon Motel & Cottages". Basically 500' from the boardwalk off tower street.

If the nomad is there, I'll be a at the boardwalk if not, I'll be out riding .

I'll Pm U my cell # b4 we leave for Laconia
Denis, since you are going to be there, maybe you could scout out a couple of good places to stay where we could book a half dozen rooms or so together for next year.

CNC, I guess I could do that.
Do we want to be in the middle of the action, Weirs beach or on the outskirts?

The thing with Laconia bikeweek, no bargains on the rooms or cabins for that week some places even double the rates.

Macmac lives about halfway between Mt Washington and Weirs beach. We were not successful in connecting last year but I had left him a 6 pack of Canadian Beer that he picked-up at the place I stayed.

I'm hoping Mac finds this thread. He told me he is about 25 miles away from the Weir's. The Half Moon is going to be noisy for sure. A friend of mine stayed at the hotel next to the Half Moon one year, he said never again. But if you want to be on foot, I don't believe there is a better place. Wear ear plugs when you go to bed, or drink until you just pass out.

Denis, I would go with what most want. I would think walking distance to the middle of the action would be good.
We do need to find out before hand how many will commit to get an idea of the # of rooms we need.

Loafer to be sure he finds it, pm Mac as I don't think he checks all the boards.

If ya wanna find Timebandit you better bring a bear trap. I hunted him down found his bike twice and but could not find him. Next time I find his bike i am gonna take the plug wire ends off, that'll fix him..

Yeah I live close to Lac, It's west and south a little..... Mt Wash is a tad more distant.

My BIL and SIL are takin a room in Ashland, and will be around......

For the hearty there is a field still here, a place to knock down for a little PEACE if anyone wants. Can Camp and for free.... There is open places in the woods too. Now If I know before hand, i will make other small amenities too.

Getting rooms at this point isn't real likey either. The rooms get booked on Father's Day at the end of Lac for next year.

The Last Sunday, Fathers Day I leave here myself for RI and a wedding. No trailer, so I have no idea whar the shot gun will go on the NAD. Can't have a proper weddin with out a shot gun ya know.

I don't have a cell phone, but my wife does. You can pm me fer the numba, but don't be sendin her porn like Radco did!

There is a train that runs back and forth from Meridith to the Weir's. Also a train that runs from Lakeport to the Weir's. So you could stay in those two towns and ride the train. Probably not cheaper but, more options.

You can spit the distance that train runs from Merideth to the depot in Weirs. It sure would be faster to the weirs as trafic is hard, bike traffic. There is so many bikes stalled in traffic, you can't tell if yer own engine is running or not.

I can't think how many times I shut down and then forgot clutching In , going to pull ahead and finding I got 0 power.

So what's wrong with earplugs AND drinking until passing out?
We go there for a good time.
