Heck, we might as well call tornadoes and hurricanes sensationalism also why we are at it. Why heck, wind doesn't mean anything, just let me know the temp, and I'll be fine.

While we are at it, let's include temperature as sensationalism! Heck, who really knows what zero degrees really is? It is just an arbitrary number some guy put together years ago, and stupid people talk about it as if it matters. Who cares about the temp anyway?

Geez... This sensationalizing of weather has gotten out of hand!
Greg, it's just not the weather but all forms of news. A two car collision at a unknown intersection is "breaking news". All I'm saying is give the basic "facts" not some form of sensationalism to entice advertisers and I'll figure out what I have to do, be it evacuate or hunker down. But to make that decision I need the facts.

Ok its still cold outside, not as bad as it is up north (that is why I no longer live in my native state of Pennsylvania, western side of course). Nothing better to do than play on the computer and look for the next upgrade for the for the Vaquero. Makes me feel not so bad about not being able to ride until I get the new brake lines this week, hopefully, and new grips to go with the new bars I finally have gotten around to install. The one good thing about being "frozen" in is you have plenty of time to work and modify your ride. Things that otherwise just don't get done because your out riding. Not to rub it in that I do live in Florida it will be 74 degrees by the weekend, and if everything goes well with getting my parts I will be out riding, after all you do have to road test the ride with the new bars and all. Will post a few pics of them as soon as I get the job finished.

Well got home from Dr appointment today and no water
Pipes froze up.
Off to town to buy a salamander, not the lizard kind, the heat blowing kind.
After an hour and a half of being outside in the 3F wind blowing 25 mph weather, Ryan and I got the pipes thawed and a new heat tape on the pipes.
Yeah, I can make coffee again

On another note, I was not dressed as warm as I should have been and needed to take my gloves off a few times.
The wind chill was brutal

It sucks having to do that stuff in the middle of the cold weather. Glad they didn't burst on you.

Has to be an epic Lake Michigan photo. Just think what the freighter and ore ships must look like.

St. Joseph Michigan last year from what I was told.

Looks kind-of creepy to me... not to mention unbearably cold.
