Guy, I guessing your talking about La Montagne du Diable. We try to get up there once or twice a season, it's about 5 hours from my cottage by snowmobile and just about as many tanks of gas! It is a very special place for sure. A few years back, they built a relais right on top of the mountain. I'll post a pic or two, but in the meantime here's a link to the area.

Nice, from the photo it doesn't look like you will be getting snow any time soon.

I have never seen the plane Guy, but here are a few shots from the last visit. There was lots of frost as we made our way up to the top. The cell towers were in the clouds that day.

Notice the heavly modified Nomads.

Managed (heh heh) to get in about 121.1 miles this afternoon on the Nomad. Seems like when the doc and the wife don't want you to ride, that's just more reason to "Just Do it!" The wife has succumbed to my charm once again and it's come down to..."OK, mister! It's your ass. Don't come wailing to me if you can't hold the bike up!" Doc doesn't know I'm riding and his instructions were do not *DRIVE* for six weeks. I'll catch blazes from him tomorrow when he finds out I've been *riding* for the last three weeks since surgery. What the hey! I'll be 70 on my next birthday and I figure I have some miles left before I get there...and plenty more after that!

WOW!!!!
Thanks Norm…very very nice pictures….
Yup, gr8 sled ride! I rode up in the late 80's.
They now have a rental package, snow mobile, snow suit & boots. A day rental could run you about $250.00 + fuel. Neighbour went up & loved it.
Think I will go in the shed & say hi to the nomad....LOL
I miss it....

Cheers all & Mary Christmas to one & all :)
Have a safe 1!
