Good morning all, it's around 72 degrees this morning - or about 25 degrees cooler than most recent mornings. Where I lived we received 1.7" of rain last night, and Mesa received nearly 3". Might not seem like a lot for some of you, but that's a third of our annual rainfall in one night. The ground here is so dry and hard the rain isn't absorbed easily and flooded roads are the result. I had to take 3 detours on my drive to work because of flooded, closed roads.

In AZ, they have what's called the "Stupid Motorist Law" which provides criminal penalties for driving through flooded roads and getting stranded, requiring rescue. Yes, it happens so frequently they had to pass a law to try and curb it.

I'm just hoping it dries up so I can go on the ride I have planned tomorrow.

Good morning! It's a muggy 72 degrees and 81% humidity here this morning. You call this a desert? Out summer monsoon is in full swing and we have lots of moisture coming up from the Gulf of Mexico.

I'm up early, getting prepared to go for a ride this morning. Destination unknown at this point. I'm going to meet up with my riding partners and we're going to pick a spot on a map and ride there.

Good Morning; 66 and cloudy. looks like it may rain shortly unless it burns off and clears up. CJ; I guess your walking around in a bathing suit lately, be careful of all the spiders and snakes that are seeking higher ground.

It was close to 90 here yesterday with high humidity, I was doing some welding in the garage and was just soaked before to long. it was hard to strike a spark with the welder because the rods were damp.

Morning all, still winter over here 12 deg C and bugger all rain. I've been away for a week with my wife, a holiday well needed. Didn't take the bike - I ride to enjoy and this trip in the middle of winter is dangerous. Had a great time but came back and rolled her out for a dust off and ride around the block. Gee you miss it!!

Good morning to all. Nice and cool 55F this a.m. going to heat up towards 90. They showed the record high for July 15 and it was set back in the 1970's. Guess what it was; 93F. Ya gotta love these 70's & 80's without that dang humidity. My tires should be coming in today, so I should stop being weird pretty soon.
