SCR-Who's Going To Colorado?

Crystal and I plan on making it to Estes Park.
Just wondered who else from the SouthCentral was going.

It's about 950 miles for us.
Our plans are to stay off the interstate and keep it under 400 miles a day.

Day 1 we'll ride to El Dorado KS.
Day 2 to McCook NE.
Then it's just about 275 mile to Estes Park.
We'll come home a different route.

We will not be there, it just won't work out for us. The financial crisis that is our economy has made it to our house.

We'll be there Dave. I originally planned a big loop out to western Colo, but Ann ended up with a big project for the summer, so we'll just be heading directly there and back.

It's just 734 miles for me, so I'm riding straight there on Saturday (6/22).

I am planning on coming in through the south end of Colorado and riding the mountains north maybe stop at the gorge and cripple creek on the way maybe pikes peak also

I've signed up for it, along with my dad. But, he's about to have back surgery now, so my riding partner is out of commission. Now, I'm up in the air if I'm going to go or not. I have a double room reserved, though. I'd like to make it and hope that I can. I may have to partner up with some others from the SCR and ride up there as a group.

Thanks, BudMan. Hopefully he does have quick recovery. Right now he is still waiting to get the surgery scheduled. Who knows when it will be. He's actually asked me to sell his bike due to him not being able to ride for a while (he's also going to have a knee replacement next year).

So, as time gets closer, I really need to start figuring out if I'm going to make it to the rally. I know I would love to go, but I don't want to have to travel up there by myself. And, the cost of going solo increases. So, I guess it's decision time.
