The Outpost

Buddy of mine and i hooked up for a ride to the Outpost today, just east of Freeport FL.....Mike started out from Milton west of me...and met me at the appointed place and time. He was all kinda bundled up as it was "chilly" this morning when he left his house...

We left Crestview at 1030 and headed east along Hwy 90 for about 40 miles or so, then south on 331 for 20 or so miles then east again for 5 or so resulting in us arriving at the Outpost...

Mike and I chowed down on pulled pork BBQ, burgers, and cokes...while we were waiting on a couple of other dudes we enjoyed the live music and general conversation.

While Mike and I were waiting for the other bros, two Nomads rolled into the parking lot...well of course we HAD to chat with them...they were from PC and out for a ride...We chatted about our and eventually got around to KawaNOW...Turns out I was talking to "Skimo" and I don't remeber the other riders name (sorry)....anyways, after seeing so many posts about "almost" catching another Nomad, that two offem rolled in right in front of me;)

After throwing down the food, chatting and yappin, we left the Outpost and jumped on Hwy 20 heading West...along the coast....was nice scenery with the houses on the water, sun beading off the water, etc...went thru Niceville and blasted up hwy 85 back to Crestview...

No pictures sorry - Pics I took came out flawed...think the digi-chip is bad....ugh.

Probably Panama City. It's along the Gulf Coast East of Ft. Walton Beach and Destin.

Yep, it was me and a local group of PC riders that try to get in a ride each Saturday. Real informal group with very diverse riders. Some are cross platform riders who own both sport bikes and cruisers. It was a good day and it was nice to meet you guys. Just never know who you're going to met at the Outpost.

There are two more Nomads in Panama City Beach. We ride up for a barbecue every so often. Let us know when you all are going to be there and we will ride up. You should ride down to the beach and go to Pier Park. All sorts of food, German beer!

Wilco DBC :) Very familiar with Pier Park and Margaritaville;) I get over to Tyndall quite a bit, so when I ride over I'll definitely holler;)
