Blue Ridge Parkway Summer Ride

Looks like my trip out west is fizzling due to others bowing out. Alternative is the BRP and points unknown off the Parkway. Any suggestions on riding the Parkway and excursions off of it?

Kid,

I was originally going to take the BRP and Skyline all the way down to the Rally. On their official site I believe, you can ask for information. I got it about 2 weeks later, shows everything you need, things to do, etc. Might want to check it out.

I think this was the site, has a lot of good stuff on it.
