Rally Return Check in

Hey guys... I'm here at work, goofin' off. I enjoyed the short time I spent with you guys. Look forward to conversatin' over the board, and riding with ya again. Hated to cut out on you guys early, but wanted to outrun the rain. Thanks for all the hospitality.

P.S. I tried to come up with a cooler nick name than "Chris" so far I've just come up with "CK". If I get too fancy i'll probably forget it. I'll probably stick with that.

You guys and gals take care.

Hey, Sheila and I made it home safe and "exhausted". Anyway, we had a great time again. As usual another good group of people. It's always fun to see old friends and meet new ones too. Looking forward to next time.

Rally Return Check in

Well, J.W. Hilliard aka "Billy" and myself "NOTAHD" got back home about 11:30 pm last nite. It was good to put a face with some of the names on this forum. Really got to see just how nice "Kawasaki" riders are. KawaNow is a much better group then the Vulcan Riders Forum on Delphi. Well as we did I hope everyone has or had a safe trip home. Thank's for having us. Check us out at www.myspace.com/shanghicycles

Rally Return Check in

Kawhead and wife got home 'bout an hour ago. That was a great rally and we enjoyed every bit of it! I hate it that some couldn't make it for one reason or another and hope y'all can make the national rally. It was great seeing the old friends and making new ones and putting faces with names.

Thanks again to the folks who made the extra effort for the rides and the cookout and donating items for the door prizes, and also we wouldn't have had a rally had nobody showed up. :)

Rally Return Check in

Well, after checking out and toping off the tanks, Mike (BigSid1) and I got on I-81 south at 5:45 AM. 702 miles later at 5:45 PM we rounded the corner on Gate Parkway and swung into my humble abode in Jacksonville FL. There were some chilly miles in the morning, some brutally hot miles durring the mid day in SC and a couple real short but real wet rain storms in GA along the way. But we made it in 12 hours. I am a bit sore though so maybe next time we will take two days?
Mike loaded the bike on his trailer and headed for Port Charlotte in the air conditioned comfort of his Pickup at 6:30PM. He should hit home about 11:30 PM.
I am tired but happy. Enjoyed all of you! and the rides. Like the idea of a fall color tour in the area so count me in!
Thanks again to those like Mike, Shelia, Mark, Paula, Ron, Dick, and the others who put so much effort into making it a fun time. And thanks to all those who pitched in each day to keep things rolling. Special thanks to Wompus for donating the trunk rack (that I won) and John for donating the lowers (would it be to greedy to say I wish I had won them too?).
Hope to see you all soon.
Ross

Rally Return Check in

Got home at 11;45 last night. It was a pleasure seeing everyone. Mike and Sheila thanks for leading three great days of riding. Mark and Paula you guys went the extra mile for the cookout. Even gave up a day of riding. Hopefully I'll see y'all at the big one next year. I know I'll see some of you sooner (DK, vulcane, Richard). I hope everyone had as much fun as i did! Ride Safe

Mike

They aren't due to be home until Sunday. However, they could make it in tonight. They were in Cleveland, TN last night. They'll be here soon.

Rally Return Check in

The wife and I got home about 3:00 PM today. Got all the way to within 5 miles of home dry, and then the bottom fell out, you know, one of those Georgia thunder storms..........
Just wanted to check in, and to say we had a GREAT time. It was wonderful to see old friends, and to make new ones. Enjoyed meeting everyone and looking forward to the next one. A special thanks to Mike, Sheila, Mark, and Paula for all the extra work they did behind the scenes, and to everyone who showed up.... It was GREAT.
Oh BTW, round trip, total miles, was 1,814 miles.

Ain't no Wy-Fy or Innernet access in Cleavland ??? Woe been unto my arse had I not checked in. He'd uh had me running wind sprints until I died. And Tammy would be running and kicking me every time I didn't keep the pace up! :-/ :'(
