Sorry to hear you are selling. Hope you get a bike that is easier for you to handle and still hang out with us...maybe a 900? That is half-a-Nad you know.

Sorry to hear about that Bob. Very good price. If I didn't have one already I would fly down and drive it home.

Sorry to hear you are selling Bob but it's very wise that you've recognized your limitations and acted upon that gut feeling. Better to hear that you are selling healthy rather than selling a crashed bike with broken bones. Just don't be a stranger here. Take care and good luck my friend.

Thanks for good wishes....Looks like CrabbyPaddy offers an even bettter deal with all the extras on his....Mabye somebody will say if I come down $400 to cover their travel to pick it up, I will say "ok"...

Being 74 isn't so bad...on some days I am so forgetful that I meet all new friends even among those I know....:-)....

Still best country on earth to live in, IMHO, but those 535 numbskulls in Congress (that's all of 'em) are doing their best to change that radically...(they can keep the change)

Seems like there is a discontinuity between "book" and reality. I have only gotten two bites on mine (two vrocers that crashed their bikes) and they were looking for me to talk money first in terms of what I would take (the old saying goes, he who talks money first, loses)...While I own it outright, I don't want to give it away either. It comes down to a bad economy where people just don't want to spend money. I understand though, make a reasonable offer. So far it hasn't come. Good luck selling it.

Yep, the economy is killing the bike market.....still, there are people on Craigslist asking $10,200 for a more or less stock 08 Nomad with 3500 miles....Low miles are worth something, but not much, per what I've been hearing....a lady called last night to say she'd come tonight and now says she will come tomorrow night....

Those who know buying and selling vehicles realize it;s only iron...

All good wishes..

So far the only offer I have gotten was 6750. Man, that hurts.

I'm the new owner. Drove it home from Gastonia (100 MI OR SO) - I LOVE this thing! No comparison whith my 1100 Dragstar. What a great cruiser and a great guy to do business with! Thanks again Bob for the great deal.
