saddlebag trim

OK folks......dumba** question for the day. Every now and then i scuff my rt. saddlebag with my big boot.

I like the look of chrome trim but i would love to find some that can be attached without drilling holes. My only 2 concerns is not being able to take them off if i drill and go stock and the chance (albeit small) of leaks.

Any thoughts? H-D has trim pieces that attach with adhesive.
