Voyageur tour pack on Vaquero
Looking at a 2009 Voyageur tourpack to install on my 2015 Vaquero. Comes with tour pack rack. Checked out fitment and it appears that the tour pack rack only fits up to 2014. Anyone have an experience installing tour pack rack on a 2015 Vaquero as far as fitment. I know the wompus rack will fit but am curious about the Kawasaki oem fitment. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated

I would make sure that it will work since each bike has different saddle bag mounts. I don't think that the Vaquero has the extra mounts for the tour pack like the Voyager. It may work with additional fabrication of the Vaquero saddle bag mounts.

Thanks for the reply Jim. Exactly why I was asking. Tracked the rack on ebay and it shows only fitting 2011-2014 Vaquero and stating not fitting the 2015 Vaquero. Looked at a couple installs on a Voyageur on you tube and it seems the mounting is different and he won't split up the tour pack and rack. I will keep looking and will probably use a wompus rack. Thanks

There are no differences at all between the '11-'14 Vaq and the '15 one, so it will certainly fit. Manufacturers of aftermarket parts are always leery about saying whether their product will fit newer model bikes, simply because they've not yet tried it on those newer models. They have no idea what Kaw has changed. But those of us who own these Kaw 1700's know for sure that nothing has changed fundamentally at all, across all model years, except for a little ABS this & that, an O2 sensor here & there, & an air management system for the Voyager.
Be brave!

Thanks for the input Peg and mbarr10. The only reason I am leary of the bracket as the bracket is from the Voyageur tour pack and fits a 2009 Voyageur and like Jim says the saddlebags are different between the Vaquero and Voyageur. If I was going Vaquero to Vaquero I wouldn't worry about years as they are all pretty much the same as you say. I know my Nomad and Voyageur are the same. I am seeing the tour pack with rack this afternoon so will check it out further. Just concerned about bolting up to frame. Thanks to all that replied.

Just an update. Looked at Voyageur trunk and purchased trunk, rack and all the chrome pieces that come with it. Probably won't start on it until riding season is over and will update to see if the Voyageur rack will fit the Vaquero. Thanks to all that replied
