The big thing about nitrogen is it is totally dry,, No water molecules at all
The problem is you would have to vacuum the tire down to 29" to boil the water out before you put the nitrogen in. If you tried this it would probably suck the tire off the bead and be a waste of time.
That said,, We used nitrogen tanks for our air supply in dragracing
For our tires and air shifters. It probably helped the air shifter some but we did it mostly because,, What the hell,, It can't hurt,,

nitrogen is the key ingredient in fire extinguishers simply because it is moisture free the powder would cake up otherwise.
I've seen them vacuum tires down to nothing and yes you would think it would break the bead.
hey different note: post some pics of your 2 onto 1 pipes just got a set for Christmas and I'm waiting on them to ceramic coated now
fitt'em up 1st, before I sent them off, man was the head nuts hard to get to especially on the rear jug I'm racking my brain thinking on how I will ever get those tight and what tool to use

Thanks for the tips - I'll get to a store & get a valve stem tool to check & see if they are loose at all. After the soapy water trick to check for leaks.
