Seafoam anyone use it?

I dont know if anyone here has heard of or used Seafoam but i can contest that this stuff is awesome. I got turned on to it from the guys over at the delphi forum (Gadget). Guys/Gals this stuff works great in our nomads. I use it in my wifes bike (Kawa 06 900LT) and in my riding lawn mower and it really seems to do what it says. I use it twice maybe three times a year in my bikes and it really seems to make the rides run better and smoother. I would and have recommended this stuff to anyone. Works great in my steps sons cars too. It can be bought at like Car quest, Napa, etc. Here is a link to more info below.

Yea a few times. Not real sure about the results but if you want some fun, take out one of the front and rear spark plugs, pour some Seafoam directily in and let your bike sit for an hour (replace plugs obviously) and fire her up! You'll smoke out the neighborhood with the weirdest color this side of Nico's stained belly button shirt!

It's suppose to be great for cleaning out the gas tank, and all the fuel system, engine of carbon, etc, can also sprya directly on the carb's butterflys, throttle body, etc to clean em. great stuff.

Seafoam for bikes is like.................. Oxygen for the body. :)

I have used it in just about all of my bikes. I gained some mpg on the Nomad after I bought it.

Since all of my bikes have been used, I wasn't sure how they had been ridden. The Nomad seems like it was ridden 30mph in 5th gear most of the time so I ran a double dose and rode it like I stole it.

It seemed to help a slight hesitation I was experiencing and like I said I noticed a slight increase in mileage.

Frequency would depend on your riding style, how often you let the bike sit and whether or not you use stabilizer when you let the bike sit for extended periods of time. I usually run one tank through a year and that is usually in the Spring.

My 2 cents........

Do you just put it in the tank or do you do all that other fancy schmancy stuff? Didn't it say something about putting it in the crankcase? I don't know about that.

Yup it says you can use it in your crank case. I know some who have done that but only ran it like 50-100 miles then empty there oil and re filled it with new. Wolfman yes it goes into your fuel tank at about 1 ounce for every gallon. I'm here to tell you folks if i could put that stuff on my salad I would :) LOLOL. This stuff is just amazing. Try dumping just 4 onuces into your nomad right before a good ride and you will notice that in about 50 miles how well your bike is running.... and my fuel milage did increase for me after I started useing this. Like I said I use it in all of my cars, bikes, riding lawnmower, Gas weedeater, etc. I also use it in my fuel tank as a fuel stabilzer during the winter months when we cant ride. Works five times better than "stabal" and wont leave a residue like Stabal does. Now that you know how good it is why are you still siting her reading when you shopuld be out buying some for your bike... Red can is what you want NOT THE green can....

Sea Foam's a great product. I use an ounce per gallon about every 3rd tank fill up.
Ride safe,
