Have you checked with U-Haul?
Maybe they can fix you up.

My son and I rented a motorcycle trailer from U-Haul. It was a one-day rental, but we could have rented it longer. Nice design, good tie downs etc. No idea what they would charge for 6-weeks.

Might be cheaper to buy one. You could always sell it when you're done, if this is a one-shot deal.

I bought a trailer when I got out of the service and needed to get my bike and auto home. Kept the trailer for a number of years, used it a lot, then traded it off. I got it cheap from wantads - like craigslist, only there were no computers back then...

I think Tim is spot on. I believe you can come out way ahead buying instead of a 6 week lease. I bought a bran new 8' tilt bed at Agri supply for right at $500. Made a front wheel chock & bolted down a 4x4 on each side of the wheels. For under $600 I've got an easy one man load/unload trailer that works as well as any custom bike trailer out there. I dunno, but I doubt you'll spend much if any less on a 6 week rental.

What a great idea - I wish I'd thought of buying instead of renting.

Evidently only if there are 2 of them at the same time.

I'd visit Virginia just to see that.

"Dearly Beloved,

We are gathered here today to mourn the passing of Pontiac GTO. Most knew him as "The Goat". He was a fine automobile and was loved by all. He will be sadly missed. Graveside services will be held at Chuckies Auto Salvage and Pizzaria. Will you please join me in a hymn from the Clymers service manual, page 29."

A new trailer for $600.00 complete is a bargain. Im sure youll get most of your cash back if you ever choose to sell it later on.
