Signature pictures--just my opinion

This is just my opinion, so don't jump on me too hard, but some of the signature pictures are getting too large and taking up too much room. It makes it really hard to get to the data in the post wading through such large pictures. There are guide lines for sizes set by Trip for picture sizes. I know there is a way to shut off the picture loads, but I still like to see what everyone is into. They don't have to be huge, just there. Sorry if I offended anyone, that's not my intention, I would just like to get through the posts easier and I'm sure there are others who feel the same way.

I agree, its hard to scroll back and forth, when trying to read the posts. At first I thought there was something wacky with my monitor settings.

YEah what makes it difficult if the there are too many pics or they are too wide. then you have to scroll left and right to read peoples post. Personally I dont care about how tall they are( within reason). It's just a pain to move left and right. Some of the pics just need to be cropped in and they would be fine. That can be done at the photobucket site without ever having to mess with the setting on your profile or anything.

I brought this up a while back. It got better for a while, well there was a few exceptions ;)
It seems that some peoples screens handle it better than others. I have to scroll on pages that other people don't.
I think if everyone followed the guide lines for posting pics the problem would go away.
Some times the pics are the right size but the person has 3 or 4 side by side which makes scrolling necessary.
Right now ice793 has two side by side and I have to scroll every thread he posts on.

This is a reoccurring problem from time to time. Thanks for bringing it up as a reminder.

I think part of it is those of us who have been sharing a few of our "showcase" rally pics. I'm sure it will settle down again after the Central Rally. Just my .02 worth.

I know this is a sensitive subject, as I have been PM'd previously to address my sig pics, which were blowing out the frames. I learned that by hitting the "enter" key while modifying my profile, I can move the pics around. While I don't think members should be limited to one sig pic has been advocated, I do advocate that the total width of all pics not blow out the frames and vertically fit on the screen, IMHO. If anyone thinks my pics are excessive, pls let me know.

Dan, your good.
ice, thanks, thats much better.
kawgirl, the main thing I am concernrd with is the signiture pictures. Posting rally photos as you say will pass with time. But the sig pictures are a recuring problem.
