Risers
I just purchased an 08 nomad this fall. I'm 5'9" and find that I have to reach for the grips. It is very hard on my back after a short ride. There is a fairing with radio and a flap that opens toward the risers, so extended risers will be a problem if they don't turn/curve rather quickly. Has anyone else run into this and do you have suggestions?

Check out the Phat ll risers. Lots of rise and pullback and no need to change cables. Made to work with Fairing. In fact, go to Bikes for sale and look at the 2007 Nomad/Loaded for sale. It's mine. Enlarge the Picture and you can clearly see the risers behind the fairing. I am also 5-9 on a tall day and have spent a butt load of time working to get my riding position right. I found the perfect combination with these risers, a mustang seat, and a set of very mini apes, not much taller than stock bars, but closer together. Good luck.
