3 letter word searches

Is there any way to enable 2 or 3 letter word searches? I know the hits would be quite large but alot of things are abbreviated or in acronym form so some searches, while possibly quite useful, are not able to be done. I hate posting new threads about something that someone has probably asked before.

4-letter word minimum is the norm on most all forums.. anything less than that is just too server-intensive.
