"Wanted" Volunteer for Throttle Mod Demo

I just did a write up on the 1600 Page for my throttle Mod I did on my 1600 Nomad.

I am now looking for a volunteer that rides a 1700, either a Vaquero,Nomad or a Voyager to demo one on their bike. The Parts are Free for whoever is interested in doing one. You can either send me your throttle tube or I can Send you the Kit to install it yourself. Please do not reply if this is something beyond your skill set. I would also prefer someone who can ride the bike after it's compleated. (sorry, all of you in the North)

Here are a few pics of the Mod on my Bike.

I would volunteer for you but I am up North, used to do evaluations when I was working. I also have a spare set of grips I could have used, oh well.

Hey smokey, Thanks for the interest. If all works well, I'll have these for sale on Ebay for around $25-$30. Will include everything to install it yourself.

That's 155K miles. That's a lot of riding.

Yesiree... I'm adding all the bikes up, guessing the sig is out of date anyway, adding a little (or much more likely a lot) for the KLR... and figuring that the real total is somewhere over half a million miles?

I'd say that if you've managed to catch him off the bike, and he has the time between tanks to install your mod Dave... then there's no better tester the VBA could possibly offer?

I'm also interested in any other recommendations Garry has to make about just about anything to do with riding, since he's probably done more of it on each bike in a single year than I've done in total... by a long margin.
