1600 passenger seat on a 1500?

I like the quick removal ability of the 1600 passenger seat. Why could a person simply add the bracket that holds a 1600 seat onto a 1500 and then a post on the back to put a nut on? Are the brackets/bolts on the 1600 reinforced? Would there be a risk of coming off or damaging the fender? I find the big bracket system on the 1500 cumbersome and a pain to remove etc...

I considered doing that but after some "looking" I decided it was too much work. Anything can be done with a saw and a welder and some perserverance.
