Will be interesting to see what the reserve price is. It is in very nice shape, looks like it is painted to match, and comes with the rack too, so a complete package. I know when I tried to buy one on eBay all the good ones ended up going for at least as much as new (I bought mine from Latus Harley, but I think Surdyke Harley has even better pricing).

Very nice trunk, painted to match my bike! Little too rich for my blood at the moment, though. If anyone here buys it, make sure to share some photos once it's attached!
I'll show my trunk ignorance here: Where does the trunk mounting plate attach to the bike?

It does look like a nice clean trunk, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes for at least double and probably triple the price its at now($405.00). For someone who is serious about getting a trunk that would be a beauty.

yea, she will match perfect. I don't know though, the 1st 3 weeks with my new girl have all ready been pretty expensive. if I did get it, I would probably make up a rack like terrebonne so I can keep the hand rails..

To install the truck rack, you remove the OEM backrest and grab rails and it mounts using the two bolts from the grab rails and the top shock mount.

Anyone have more info on the rack terrebonne made? I have not been able to find anything on it and would have liked to keep the hand rails.

Thanks, Strobe. I didn't know that the hand rails have to come off. If I ever get a trunk, I would like to keep those on there if possible. I like the look of them, and I know my wife likes them.

you can make a rack that leaves the handrails on for a trunk. There is one on here somewhere maybe someone who knows the link will jump in

Using the Scootworks or the Wompus rack they do have to come off. I am looking for the rack that was made by terrebonne I think that used the handrails, I think they were not only functional, but looked good so am going to try and get them back on my bike of I can.

yup, i just emailed the pics to strobe I got from terrebonne a few months back. great idea he had.. simple and will do the trick.. the only things I would do different I think is once the centerline is set, weld a piece across the front so it can't flex in and out. then I will also include tabs for the helmet locks.

My trunk is mounted on a Wompus rack and I still have the chrome grab handles attached, unless its a different setup on a 1600.
