As for a Victory Indian, there is no such thing. Indian is owned by Polaris Industries and operated as an autonomous Company. They have their own R&D and Engineering Departments, the only thing they share is assembly plants. The engines are built in Osceola, WI and the bikes will be assembled in Spirit Lake, IA. They are hand made in their own part of the factory. There will be no co-mingling of parts. Pricing has not been determined but I was told by one of their engineers that they will be $25,000 and $30,000.

So they will use the same outdated engines they currently use? My impression was that they would use the Victory powerplants. As far as "hand made", that gets expensive and QC is more difficult and I have to wonder how a $30K bike will sell. I doubt much better than a $35K bike. I guess we'll see before long.

Completely new bike from top to bottom including a totally new motor.
