A real motorcycle?
I think the real reason the insecure buy harley's and trash talk other bikes is cause they weren't breast fed as babies! I'm fine with my nomad need I say anything more!

A real motorcycle?
When I look at bikes for sale I see HD ads 3 to 1 over other brands I can only think with so many 2-3 year old bikes for sale they must not be very good for so many people to be trying to unload them
hard to find many good Nomads for sale

A real motorcycle?
It brings some Harly owners to tears when you point out that some 78% of their American made Motorcycles are actually manufactured outside the USA. Pisses them off to be shown that of that 78% some 80% is Jap. I just remind them that I no longer have to drag a magnet behind me to catch falling parts like I did when I rode Harley.

When I came home Iraq I wanted to get an Electra-glide, since having been a police motor officer before, figured I could get a good cop price on one. Wrong! Talk about inflated egotistical prices! Looked at the '06 Vulcan.... Twenty minutes later, without even taking a test ride,I bought it... $11,690.... Really good price. I simply love this bike! Just waiting to get the funds situated to start getting a fairing, sound system and more. This forum is a great asset!!

You paid 11,690 for a 7 year old bike?

Granted, I got an unusual deal, but I paid $5,500 for my 07 Nomad a few months ago. Not like me to actually see a good deal and be able to take advantage of it...but I got lucky this time! Oh, it had less than 1,500 miles on it when I bought it!

This is a 3-year old thread... Someone is digging deep for these things.
Not sure of the price paid for the '06... If it was $11k paid recently (2013)... I am fairly sure that was not a good deal for a 7-year-old bike -- no matter the mileage. There must be more to the story...
