Worked for Grumman / Vought aircraft for 17 years. Then in 04, they we to close the Stuart Florida plant and relocate the work to Dallas Tx.
There are two plants, Marshall street and Jefferson Ave.
Kept getting the run around about our relocation package so, I work now for the county property appraisers office.
Now here is the kicker. Things changed and some of the work that went to Dallas is coming BACK here and the place is staying open!! I'm seeing if I can get back to my old job and not just a new hire.

I was asked that question just recently. Stopped in at the Harley shop to pick up one of those suspension no-loss pumps but got caught looking at a Road King by a hungry-looking salesman . He says, "Looks good, huh?" I'm thinking, "Not as good as my Nomad," but I just nod. He says, "Listen to this," and starts it up to play the music of burning testosterone.

"Anybody can drive a sports car," he says, "But when you ride one of these, everybody notices, especially . . ." and he looked around and leaned in to me "especially The Babes."

"Yeah, so I hear."

He extends his hand. "I'm Jim." I shake his hand. "I'm Neill."

"What do you do for a livin' Neill?"

"I'm a Presbyterian minister, Jim."

He got this deer-in-the-headlights look, then opened his mouth, but nothing came out. Finally, he says, "You wouldn't believe the gas mileage these babies get."

he told me riding a harley was a life style i told him i grew up and out of that life style years back
