As anybody ever heard of the "ROK" (Riders of Kawasaki)

http://www.kawasaki.com/ROK/Landing.aspx

http://www.kawasaki.com/kawasakinew/...CategoryId=173

They say that this fits the 1500 nomad only ???

http://www.kawasaki.com/kawasakinew/...CategoryId=177

I guess we are going to start to act like HD riders and get everything Kawasaki available

I used to be a member, mainly for the road side service but found that you can get a better deal thru the AARP auto club. Their magazine has some good articles once in a while but you can download that for free

I looked at ROK and AMA for roadside insurance. I went with the AMA since they have other benefits that I can utilize.

Yep, AMA has a great roadside assistance plan.

I use AAA and have had them for 15 years now. They will deliver gas to you at no charge, locksmith services, jumpstarting, towing up to 100 miles free, that all includes motorcycles. My sister pays the initial $115.00 dues and I am on as an Associate for $40 per year, pretty good deal I think.

I have been a member of ROK. They seem to have trouble keeping main people and have a very limited budget. Kawasaki sends them to some VROC events like the World Reunion in Eureka Springs, AR in September. Rick, Teresa, Liz and myself are pictured in the #6, 2008 Accelerate issue when they where covering the Reunion. They work the Kawasaki tent at race events and provide a check room at these for helmets, clothing, etc. Like most others I can get road side service cheaper through my insurance co. and other than the magizine there is not much for them to offer me. Since they do have a direct link to Kawasaki management they are a good source to contact with ideas. Not much good for complaints thought. IMO

+1 on the AAA. Buy the RV Package and you are covered for your cars and your motorcycle!
