Successful bafflectomy

I finally mustered the balls to cut out my baffles, no problems at all, cut them off & gave them a few twists & out they came as per BD's instructions. Only one small thing, I broke off the bit & it went into the muffler & I can't get it out. It is on the other side of the donut ring part way up the muffler, I tried a telescopic magnet but could not get it, it will eventually fall out on the rough roads around here. I love the new sound, much deeper tone but not loud.
I have a TFI on the way, hope it gets here soon so I can get it set up before they start salting the roads, that will be the end of riding season.
Gary

Hi Gary, The bafflectomy is perfect for me, not too loud but the bike now sounds like a V Twin.
You will enjoy how the bike runs with the TFI. I have a 9"K&N on the right side. I forget my settings, the bike is now in storage. Start with 3-6-1-9 if its a Dobeck Techlusion.

Thanks Redjay, I plan to do the Caddmann this winter, I think I will install open air filters on both sides.

I broke the bit off in mine too Gary. Not sure where it is now. Inside the tailpipe or if it worked its way out. Congrats on the success!

Congratulations on your successful debaffling. I don't understand how the bit got that far into the muffler.
