If you get tired of dodging traffic you can always head out to the hill country here in Abilene and enjoy open roads.

I have rode the Abilene area to see the wind farm. Scott that runs the B1 engine shop at the air base took us about 8 to 10 Texas VROCer's on a tour of the shop and the wind farm. We also got to eat at one of the great steak houses.

Thank everyone for the welcome.

I sure would love to ride in NC before I can't ride. I have an uncle that lives in Lexington, so I may visit him on the new bike before to long. I was set to go a few years ago to do the Tail of the Dragon a few years ago but the time frame we set up a landslide closed the trail, so we had to cancel.
