Hey y'all got home a couple of hours ago had a very excellent time screaming kids and all.

"HalfaNad" Richard and I got to Blairsville about noon along with Cliff & Diana who continued on to Cartersville. Had a killer day yesterday of 10+ hours in the saddle but found some great roads.
Made for a short ride today though.

Thanks to all for the work to make this a great get-together. Especially Mike, Sheila, Mark and Paula.

It was great to see those I met in Helen last year and make some new friends. Took my mind off other things for a few days....which I needed.

Ron and I were talking about a possible meet up sometime this fall. We'll see......

Thanks to all that came.....feel bad for those that didn't make it, you missed a good time with some good folks!!

We have been in Cleveland, TN since last night. Went for a ride with David, Goose, Goose's brother and one of David's friends. Got in 100+ miles today. Now we are catching up with David, Andrea and Buttars.

We still have 500+ miles to go tomorrow! We will leave early in the morning and get home late afternoon or evening. I'll post when we get in.

Thanks to Mike, Sheila, Mark and Paula for all the hard work that they put in for the group. I really appreciate your help and all that you did.

I posted on the 'made it home thread on the rally threads' and then noticed this one. Anyway....we made it back Sat about 5 pm....was very hot but we got soaked once just past Knoxville...actually felt good.

It was nice to see old acquaintances and make new ones. Thanks to Mike, Sheila, Mark and Paula for all the work.

Amy.....What? You got a great conversation piece there.

well I will give you guys a small update on Ron and Tammy :). it was great having them here with Andrea and I, they are on their way pulled out of Cleveland around 9:30 this morning with camper in tow

, I had a great time looking at the pictures of the rally and hearing Ron and Tammy tell stories on most you (they were all good) ;) I wish I could have made this one it look like another great time rides and friends alike. we will be at the next one.

Tammy would not have pictures to show if I had not had the "miracle touch'....hehe.

Dave - Looking forward to seeing you and Andrea again. I often think of you when I hear my 'debaffled' pipes singing. :)

We had to stop our return trip home yesterday in north Florida due to a very heavy thunder storm that had some pretty bad lightning. I called David and he pulled up the Florida weather radar and it was going to be much of the same for the last 3 hours of the trip. So we ended up staying in Jennings, FL for the night.

We left there this morning around 7 and got in at 10:40 a.m. Now we have all the unpacking done but have to get the house back together after being gone for 10 days...those boys sure can make a mess even when they think they have cleaned up!
