Well it took me exactly 12 months to do this. I have officially rode year round. Jan and feb and dec were the hardest. I rode only once in jan the temp was 40 degrees feb only once temp was 32 ouch. dec ride temp was 50 degrees. Thanks to my neoprene face cover and my ski jacket and gloves. Not sure why i feel this is an acomplishment but i do so yay me hahahaha. any way thanks to every one for all the threads

Now you have to ride with the temps in the 20's.

Just gear up properly.

Congrats om the accomplishment.

Your lucky to be able to ride like that, I think 40's is still a good riding day, low 30's start to feel a bit cool after a while. I rode my bike into Jan the first year I had it, then brought it back out in March to start the nrew season. I ride into the teens and low 20's here a few times each season. If it wasn't for the road salt Id ride in any temp.

I did it this year and last year. I rode at least one day in each month for the past two years. Most days during December, January and February I ride more than one day but have ridden at least one day in every month. One advantage of living in north Alabama.

considering my (riding) budget i have minimal gear. If i had the gear i agree low twenties and teens would be no prob.

Geeze!! Scott has been here yet to tell us all again about how he rides all yr. long?? He probably rides less in "the winter". Me? I get 6 months at best. And then I miss time if it rains.

Do you have crash bar chaps?

Those some thermals a good jacket and gloves is all you really need.

A couple of those chemical handwarmers come im handy also.

But being a little off (or in my case a lot) really helps.

Twenty five degrees outside and gearing up in a few to head out. The high temp here today is expected to be about thirty six degrees.
