I can just imagine the cost. Be nice to have one to be laid to rest in. I am hoping it is a while before I have to check into that.

A good commercial venture no doubt and they do look pretty cool for a casket ...but,
I'm of the mind that, When I die,....I'm not here any more! So they can do whatever they want with me. Fire up the oven and dump what's left in the trash. We're just energy and this "thing" we bury is just that a vehicle for us while we're here. Now I'm about as far away from religious as you can get. Spiritual yes, but religious? No. So like I said, I'll have moved on.

My father owned and operated cemeteries... you wouldn't believe what people will pay for funerals -- even when advised not to (as I know my father advised many times).

But, when it comes to death, some will lose all sense of reason. My father said when relatives go to extremes, it was most likely related to their own guilt; and going "over-board" was their way of compensating for it.

Who knows... ???

Otherwise... if someone wants to "go-out" with style and these caskets fit what they want... I say go for it! ;)
