Cool, but I still kind of like having a throttle.

That is really cool. I wonder how long the batteries will last?

Batteries, GOOD question. And pricey I bet.

Thats neat, but probably can't handle outdoor surfaces very well.
Makes a super office chair though.

well that thing scraps all attempts to have people use the stairs at work instead of the elevator....... great tool to have after the heart attack I guess, you know for recovery and all. But imagine, the goldwing has airbags, and if this technology was adapted to thier bikes, how low will you go before you drop the bike? A thought! happy ridding

That's pretty neat. I think it would be great for those who are physically unable to walk.

Otherwise, it looks like the first step towards the mobile couches that all the humans used in the movie Wally. The humans were basically slugs that couldn't move around by themselves.

I didn't see anyone on the cost but I can imagine it would be fairly pricey. Some of the technology they used could probably used for bikes. Something along the lines of slow speed maneuvers and such.

Thanks for your time

By the looks of the unit, Id assume its mainly for indoor use or real smooth roads and sidewalks. I wonder how it will work if your trying to carry something as well. It may offset the balance if your trying to carry something a little heavy.
