WHO'S STILL RIDING?

I rode to work today. I'd still ride every day but this time of the year, if it's raining I don't ride because of the dark and leaves.
I try to get to December 1st. what about you?

WHO'S STILL RIDING?

Vin,
I went out for a ride yesterday - about 60 miles round trip with a stop in Hoboken NJ - I agree - Ride when you can!

I hope to ride until it gets too cold for these old hands to hold the grips...

have to admit the wet leaves are no fun though!

Tom

TC, I agree the leaves are down right dangerous. I lived in Mercerville, NJ for about 5 years. I miss it down there. ad some really close friends.
Fish, I spent a month at Fort Indian Town Gap just outside of Harrisburg. Amazing riding in your part of the country.

WHO'S STILL RIDING?

Hey Vin, I pick up the bike from the painters tommorrow. Will ride it home from Oswego NY. Thats about 40 miles. It is supposed to be 45 degrees so I should be OK if I bundle up good The foot of snow we got three days ago is gone, thats a good sign ;)
I'm sure there is more o come. :(" title="" border="0"/>

WHO'S STILL RIDING?

I rode everyday this week to work except today cause I need the truck. I did ride home from the G/F house at 5 AM this morning though. It was about 30 degrees. Had to scrape the frost off the seat. I rode all last year down to the mid twenties but this year the bike needs maintenence. Tires, Driveshaft seal, Battery, oil, general clean up etc. It should keep me busy for a while.

WHO'S STILL RIDING?

I take mine off the road in Early December so I can do all the maintainence and planned projects. I don't mind riding down to about 20 degrees, to work. No long trips at those temps. without heated clothing etc.

WHO'S STILL RIDING?

I went to work 4 days on the bike this week and today I went to Niagara Falls and back, 220 mile round trip in 30 degree weather. There is about 4 inches of snow that fell last night around here, although 10 miles south of me there is no snow at all.

WHO'S STILL RIDING?

I put on my raingear on Saturday and rode to the Yamaha dealer by Bethlehem to have a rear tire installed that I dropped off on Friday. It was a tricky ride with a bald tire on the way down and a slippery new one for the ride home on wet roads.
I did alot of riding in the rain this year.

WHO'S STILL RIDING?

Rode the other day for about 120 miles. I can deal with anything over 45 degrees with no issues. Last week took a ride around Lake Winapassakkee from RI (I'm sure I spelled it wrong). Stopped in on MacMac in NH and introduced myself. 429 miles that day. It was damp but not bad in the high 40's coming and going, at least part of the way.

Hello MacMac.
