Looks like we ran a lot of the same trails.

We only seen one Fawn kill I believe it was on 144 above Renovo.
We had three Doe jump out in front of us on 872 that scared the tar out of Gail.

We also stayed in the worst dump I ever stayed in :-[ Tues nite as it was late and I didn't feel like riding another mile. It reminded me of one of those old hunting cabins I stayed in when I was young.

Looks like you guys had a real nice trip. Did you escape the rain?

We had a Bear walk out on us a couple weeks back while stopped on Skyline Drive and one of the road guys I talked with told me they seen a lot of Bear this year down there.

Larry I think you nailed it about June, the temps are good but it seems we get the most rain in June. Our rally in Elkins in June of 08 was also a wet one. I also dislike the heat in July, but think it's probably our best choice due to work schedules of some of the guys. I'd also vote to have it a whole wk. Mon. to Fri. that way we'd have plenty of time for both socializing and riding.

Also we would get the best rates as weekend rates are much higher.

Wellsboro would be a great place to be centered but as you said it might be difficult to do as reservations would have to be well in advance due to the popularity of the area. Great Motels & Restaurants there make it appealing.

Just some of my thoughts! ::)

The Sherwood told me Sunday nights are usually easy to get a room as most people head back home on a Sunday.

So how does this sound, arrive on a Sunday, that way people have all weekend to get there. Rally Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and leave on Thursday?

I would rather ride in the heat then in the rain, especially if there is a pool after the ride

I wouldn't have enough vacation time to set aside for a rally from Sunday to Thurs. How about a Thurs, Fri, Sat and leave Sunday?
