I took my stepson Matt to the Chatterbox last month. He liked it so since he's on vacation he was supposed to bring his family there today along with going to the Space Farm.
He rode my Nomad last week and is thinking of selling his Hayabusa and getting a C109R for more comfort.

We're going tomorrow to trade the 'busa for a C109 in Cherry Hill, NJ. Then off to a buffet. The salesman comes in at noon so my day is shot.

It still sounds like its a better day than going to work. ;)
And don't skimp on the portions at the buffet. Those C109s are nice looking bikes, a guy up here has a blue one with white stripes and it looks sharp.

he stripped the busa down yesterday and cleaned it up. The one he wants is black. It's an 08 leftover.

tell him to stick by his guns they might be calling him back, after all its a new bike just 1 1/2 years old. Most of my vehicles I bought as leftovers or end of the year clearance.

They say the bike's been raced and has a bent shifter fork
There is a hole drilled in the red engine shutoff button and that's where a tethered pin is inserted when you race so if you leave the bike (like fly off) it will pull on the switch and it will kill the engine. Makes sense. He never noticed the hole but I mentioned the previous owner stated he raced the bike.
They said the bent shifter fork is an 11 hour job so instead of him getting $55-6500 they offered him $4000. I feel bad for him since he was set to pull the trigger. 4 of us spent 7 hours roundtrip for nothing.

See if you can find another bike at a different dealer.
Does the busa shift ok or is something feel different?

He never noticed anything and it does need an oil change.

Consider the pig shot ;)

I used to have a pig roast every year, I even built my own spit to cook it on. Havn't had one in a few years, but perhaps I should dig it out of the shed and have a BBq. They are a lot of fun watching it spin around for a few hours. Im usually dizzy by the time its done. ;) But not from watching it turn.
