I hope you finished after dinner with a nice Rocky Patel Beez!
Actually I bought an Edge across the street and haven't smoked it yet. It's in the humidor.

Bob; I had one of my Montecristo's last night. Wow was it nice. After smoking those Backwoods as my dailey smoke for all this time I can sure notice a difference when I fire up a good one.
When I come down this summer perhaps we can go to a decent cigar shop and I'll pick up a few for the humidor.
Here there is a law that makes it so you cant see the smokes in a store, they are all hidden behind aluminium doors. You have to ask for what you want and they get it for you. I tell them I don't know what I want sometimes, it depends on what they have, and they won't let me see their stock. Dumb way of selling here.

That's for sure. You're lucky you can get Cubans there but the price is rediculous.
As far as not being able to see the cigars, you must have to do your homework and make a list before you go into the store.

The Montecristo's & Romeo Y Julieta's that I bought in Cuba cost me $150.00 a box. If I was to buy them here they cost about $450.00 a box. So I know about ridiculous prices. Usually I get ticked off and leave the store with nothing since its a spur of the moment decision to buy one. Thats why I like traveling in the US it so much more convenient.

If you find something you like on either Famous or Cigars International I'll pick whatever you want up and bring them to the rally for you Steve. This offer is open anytime we go to meet up.

Rocky Patel Edge is very popular as well in either Maduro or light wrapper. If you have a humidor and buy the 2nds and let them age you can save some $. 2nds come in matzos of 15 for $45-60 for either the Sungrown and the Edge I think.

That sounds like a good idea, getting the seconds. I'll get you to bring me some when we go to Lake George this summer. I'll check around those two links and see what brands Id like to try.
