Greetings from the Ozarks...........
Just joined up, bought a new 2011 Vaquero (RED) about 2 weeks ago, looks like it is going to work out well. Have had Kawasaki"s for a number of years, ( 72 H-1, 76 KZ-900, 78 KZ1000 Z1-R, 82 GPZ 1100, 86 Concours, 87 Concours, 2001 Concours, another 2001 Concours, 2009 KLR650, and now 2011 Vaquero. Have had amazingly good luck with Kawi's, had 100,000 miles on the Z1-R, each of the Concours had about 50,000 on them when they were sold. Have had other brands (all Japanese) with good results, only one I ever blew up was an 83 Suzuki 1100ES, spit a wrist pin keeper and scored a cyl. Currently own the Vaquero, the KLR650, and a very nice 2011 Triumph Thruxton (Diablo Red). Spend a lot of time riding in North Central Arkansas. Live in the Springfield area, some people from this area know me as Munchkin, if you happen to be an old friend drop me a line, would be good to catch up. Gotta go, daylights wasting away.
