loose Kury pegs

I put a set of Kury floorboard mounts on the bike and have Kury Dually pegs attached to them. I used the double washers that came with them when I mounted the pegs. They still fall down when I'm riding. I have the bolts cranked as tight as I can get them. There's no more room for another washer between the pegs and the mounts. Any ideas on how to tighten these up so that they don't fall down on their own.

Are the bolts going into a blind hole ? Are the bolts too long ? Is there a lockwasher ?

A photo might help ?

They are going in to a blind hole. Will try to pick up a shorter bolt at the local hardware store and see if that's the problem. The bolts came with the peg mounts.

Usually the Longhorn Duallys attach to the crashbars.

I was able to snug them up. I put a pipe on the end of the allen wrench and got a little more leverage. I also didn't install the floorboard mounts according to the direction. The directions wanted the floorboards reversed to the opposite sides. I like my feet where they are so I just drilled and tapped the spots on the floorboards where the mounts line up. The hole pattern was there for 2 of the bolts. The 3rd I drilled.

I decided I didn't like the dually pegs on there so I ordered a set of small Kury Trident pegs to go on the floorboard mounts. Should be here by Friday.

Man I love the floorboard brackets! First time I've seen them.
You know I'm running floorboard brackets for my highway pegs too and I like mine just fine but I have to admit yours are nicer looking. Good find, hope they are comfy riding.

I installed the small Kury Trident pegs. I like them a lot better but would like to find something smaller that looks the same.

I had the same prob on my rear Kuryakn boards so I purchased a couple of shorter bolts and put lock nuts on them and it took care of the problem.

These Kury pegs thread in to a blind hole. A new spring washer took care of the problem.
