Passenger Grab Rails for the quick release Vaquero back rest

So, I just purchased a back rest extension for my quick release back rest. It has yet to arrive. The only thing that would make this quick release back rest perfect would be passenger hand rails. Anyone know of any? Or how to make some? I'm just curious. I was hoping the back rest at least had hand rails like the Kawasaki Nomad, but was disappointed to realize it didn't in fact come with any. Thanks for your time!

There are a bunch of them out there for the Electra Glide that you could modify. Kuryakyn makes a chrome one.

Wow, that was a fast reply! Thank you very much, I will look into it. Modifying always scares me, but I guess it's time to put my big boy pants on. Thanks again!

Curious, are you "extending" the backrest up or back? My wife would like to have it back a few inches. Who made the extensions, I have the KQR for my Vaquero.

Thunder makes extensions for the backrest. I believe they raise the pad about 4". That may change the angle of it a little for her to lean back more. The set runs around $75.
