installed amp

I installed an Alpine KTP-445U in the fairing today. I was going to go a different route on the amp but they were sold out. All I can say is that I couldn't be more pleased with the amp.

The Alpine KTP-445U performs beyond what I thought it could. I would normally ride with the stereo at 24 in the city and 30 on the highway. It only goes to 32. Now I can ride with it at 12 in the city and about 15-16 on the highway.

I have 4 - 50 watt RMS speakers and this amp gives them 45 watts each. I don't need anymore than that.

Very pleased. Now if I could only find an AVC that would work with it that doesn't cost a fortune.

Wow. That is very impressive! I need to look into that. Was it super difficult?

Super easy. Just plug the speaker wires in to one harness and the wires from the stereo in to the other harness. Add some power. Also, it's already adjusted from the factory.
