Really cool pics Gerry.
My brothers and I spent many hours putting together models of quite a few of the planes shown

That's cool stuff. A couple years ago I won a ride on a B-17 here at the Bozeman Airport. Got to sit in the glass nose when we landed.

Great show to be able to go to. There is a good museum with all the old warbirds just south of the Boeing plant in Washington. I think it's almost at par with the display at the Smithsonian in DC. I once saw them rebuilding these types of planes at the Flying Tigers museum @ Kissimmee. I think it's closed now. Great post Gerry, thanks.

Those are great! I love the spitfire and the p-51. I always wanted to be a F-15 pilot growing up, passed the test back in the day but sadly my eyes where not good enough. If I had it to do over I would have went anyway, now that they have all the laser surgery and such.

I brought my family to an air show about 20 years ago, everyone had a great time.
They are really thrilling to see.
