Someone posted a video of last years TT but it showed guys going off the road and flying through pastures and flipping over stone walls.
Those guys are crazy, but fantastic riders.

IMO, the TT is the greatest racing event ever. Attending the event is on my Bucket List. I'd like to think the race will endure, but with fatalities occurring every year I'm not sure how much longer it can last. I recently watched a story about the TT on HBO's "Real Sports" and the organizers pledged to keep it going, so who knows?

If you're not familiar with the race, I highly encourage you to check it out. The riders are some of the most talented, fearless, daredevil riders you'll ever see -- Valentino Rossi wouldn't do anything more than a parade lap when he showed up in '09. The island is beautifully scenic and the residents embrace the annual event with enthusiasm.

Finding sources of coverage of the event isn't easy here in the U.S., but the internet is changing that.

TT= Titanium Testicles.

I think the Government needs to step in and either regulate ( lower the speeds ) or shut this down. If it would only save 1 life......

I agree, that is some amazing riding. I've seen bits and pieces of this race over the years. Even though some think the riders are nuts, I think the ones that are nuts are some of those spectators standing right on the edge of the road. I wonder how many of them have gotten killed/injured over the years.

Man, if I were young and fearless again, I would probably go there and kill myself!

DAMN, that looks like FUN ! ! ! ! !

Excellent video! Three things.... I can't even imagine turning a corner while doing a wheelie...... I can't imagine going airborn over a hill at those speeds...... and whoever the video production company is, they did an excellent job on the vid!

most of the bad wrecks happen when they open the course to the public
that said I would love to go to the race and take a lap on the course
The island is self governed, So as long as they want to hold the TT there isn't alot anyone can do about it

I never was a patient, but I have held one in my mouth 'till the fire went out.

I'll get back with you on the injury list, but my best guess is none of these spectators have been killed over the years.

You're still fearless Jacket and when you consider dk's light yeas older than you. I say GO FOR IT BABY!
Dk rides like that for crying out loud! Ain't scared of nuthin' but running out of beer!

Great video!

Kawhead, you'd be right there on the side of the road, leaning out and taking pictures of Bob and DK as they zipped by. I'd be at the finish with a couple of cold ones for them.
