09 Voyager 1700

They went back to the straight tank (similar to the 1500's) on the 1700's, rather than the cool looking tank on the 1600's. I always felt that the 1600's tank was one of it's best looking features.

Ugly Bags though!

What's up with only 12 months warranty. Even HD has 24 months now. They must not have much faith in that new engine.

When you get it, let me know. I'd love to stop by and see it. Not to digress, but I've heard Huntington Beach Police are now riding ST1300. Since you work for them, is this true?

Well, my local dealer told me today that the Voyager would be in their showroom in a few weeks. I don't put much value in what they tell me, though. ;)

A buddy of mine went into the local dealer and was told 2nd week of October. He currently rides a BMW 1200RT and wants a fully dressed comfortable bike with lower seat height. He almost bought a Harley until the Voyager came out.

Talked to my dealer today. He said MaKaw is trying to decide wheather to wait and release them in Jan so they can call them 2010's. I don't know, he said they could legaly do that if they wait the extra month ???
