100,000 miles

I received this email tonight from my friend.

He is a retired NYC Motorcycle cop. He is in his 70's and rides on a daily basis.

At approximately 1500 hours, July 21, 2014, a milestone was reached at the intersection of Sunnyside Blvd & route 495 in Plainview, NY.
I and my trusty steed, a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1700 cc, that was bought new in May 2009, crossed the 100 thousand mark on the vehicles odometer. The reading at the time of this writing is now 100,009.
How many other motorcycles, regardless of manufacturer can boast of that accomplishment?
Just a little tidbit for your information. Hopefully I will be able to add on a few more miles in the upcoming days, weeks, months & years, who knows?
