Killington Classic

Killington Classic, Killington, VT. Sept. 8th thru the 11th. I'm planning on riding to this event. I am hoping to get some insight from any of you guys that have attended this in the past. Im in SC so this would be a long ride. I would like to get a group to make this ride if anyone is interested. Any thoughts???????????

I've never been to the Classic, I know... But I'm usually in Maine during that time. If I am around, I would like to meet other riders there. Killington has been taken over by the folks who run Americade, as of this year, so it should be a good rally. I received a post card from them, and it says:
More activities, More vendors and More riding!
Factory demos by Victory
Displays by Ducati
Expanded vendor village
Amazing Rides & Guided Tours includes Covered Bridges, Mountain Passes, Stunning Views, and includes lunch
Poker Run
Charlie Daniels Band Concert
Fireworks
Stunt shows

Sounds like they have a lot of events planed. Wish I could make it but work comes first. Hope you have a safe ride up. Have lots of fun and don't spend too much money.

Ive never heard of it, but it sounds like a well planned event. I'll have to try and make it oneday. I like the time of year that they have it also.

Thanks for the insight guys. Not 100% sure that I'm going. Dont really want to ride that far alone. We will see. That trip would cost a pretty penny. I have a cruise scheduled for June next year and am making payments on that still.

Oh yea; I was told I needed a nick name so I changed from Gerald to Tar Guard.

I went to the website and pretty much read everything there was to read about it.
I could be wrong but it seems to me it has always been a Harley type event and by getting Americade management involved they are trying to get it to be more of an all brand, family type of event.
